As we mentioned in our story, the penny did indeed drop whilst we were having a catch up about creating the UK’s first on-the-go collagen drink- but how did we get from that catch up date in March 2024 to our GEN collagen launch?
We trialled multiple flavours before deciding the taste of our 3 delicious final choices. We needed the drink to be healthy and low in calories. The recipe for each drink was worked out carefully looking at milligrams of ingredients to ensure this.
The market research highlighted that our added health benefits of digest, natural energy and hydration were pretty high on everyone’s daily list and we wanted to be able to achieve everyone’s goals. We went with the best collagen there is and the amount of marine collagen that goes in the can is way more than most of our competitor collagen supplements.
Lastly every drink has the full vitamin C daily requirement allowing for optimal absorption of the collagen into the blood stream.
